Panama City, Florida


NOTHING could be better than spending the winter in sunny, warm Florida!!!!  Panama City, Florida is located along U.S. Route 98 between Tallahassee and Pensacola in the panhandle area of Florida.  Its climate boasts of short mild winters and long hot, humid summers.  The city, itself is located on the Gulf of Mexico with over six square miles of waterline within the city. Close by is Panama City Beach where visitors and locals alike enjoy the beautiful gulf coast.

After a relaxing day at the beach, Panama City offers a variety of night life from a multitude of restaurants offering fresh gulf seafood to Italian cuisine.   From cocktail lounges and bars to concerts in the downtown area.  If you desire a more refined evening, the city offers many cultural events to choice from as well as several museums.  The Marina Civic Center performing arts facility provides cultural enrichment opportunities for the citizens of Panama City throughout the calendar year.  The historic Martin Theater hosts many popular plays and attractions annually.

Downtown Panama City has a year-round farmer’s market.  While visiting the farmer’s market, take in the great shopping in downtown Panama City, then stay for one of the Baybreeze Concert series offering to finish off a wonderful day!
